Robert Andrew "Bob" Woolmer

Robert Andrew "Bob" Woolmer (May 14, 1948March 18, 2007) was an international cricketer, professional cricket coach and also a professional commentator. He played in 19 Test matches and 6 One Day Internationals for England and later coached South Africa, Warwickshire and Pakistan. He died in Jamaica, while participating in the 2007 Cricket World Cup as the coach of Pakistan. On March 22, 2007, Jamaican police announced that his death was being treated as murder after the official post-mortem report stated that Woolmer's death was caused by asphyxia due to manual strangulation.
